Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026.04.27 · Effective April 27, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) governs how customers and authorized users (collectively, “you”) may use BuilderHelp, LLC’s services, including the BuilderHelp web app, mobile app, APIs, and integrations (the “Services”). It supplements the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update this AUP from time to time as described in the Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Uses

You will not, and will not permit any Authorized User or third party to:

  • Violate law. Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any law, regulation, or order of any governmental authority.
  • Infringe rights. Submit content or take actions that infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, contract, or other right of any person.
  • Send spam or malware. Send unsolicited bulk messages, phishing attempts, or any communications containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, worms, or other malicious code.
  • Attack the Services. Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or any associated network, breach security or authentication measures, attempt to interfere with service to any user (including denial-of-service attacks), or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any account, computer system, or network connected to the Services.
  • Reverse engineer. Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, or model weights of the Services or any AI Feature, except to the extent applicable law expressly prohibits this restriction.
  • Scrape or republish. Use any automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access, index, harvest, or copy any content from the Services without BuilderHelp’s prior written consent, or republish content from the Services outside the scope of your authorized use.
  • Compete or benchmark. Use the Services to develop a competing product or service, or for benchmarking, model training, or comparative analysis, without BuilderHelp’s prior written consent.
  • Bypass limits. Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage quota, rate limit, tier gate, feature flag, payment requirement, or other technical or contractual restriction.
  • Misuse AI Features. Use AI Features to (a) generate content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise harmful; (b) create deepfakes or impersonate real persons without their consent; (c) infer or output sensitive personal information about individuals; (d) generate fraudulent invoices, bids, contracts, or other documents; or (e) train or improve any third-party machine-learning model.
  • Submit prohibited data. Submit data the Services are not designed for, including protected health information subject to HIPAA, payment card data outside our payment-processor flows, government-classified information, or data of children under 13.
  • Misrepresent identity. Create accounts using false information, impersonate any person or entity, or share login credentials with anyone other than authorized teammates within your seat license.
  • Harass or harm. Engage in abusive, harassing, or threatening conduct toward BuilderHelp employees, other customers, or third parties through the Services.
  • Resell. Resell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit access to the Services to third parties (including running a service bureau or white-label offering) without a separate written agreement with BuilderHelp.
  • Misuse integrations. Misuse Third-Party Service integrations (Stripe, Moov, Google/Gmail, Microsoft/Outlook, QuickBooks, etc.) in violation of those providers’ terms of service.

2. Security

You are responsible for the security of your account and credentials. You will: (a) use strong, unique passwords; (b) enable available security features (including multi-factor authentication for administrative roles, where supported); (c) promptly revoke access for departed teammates; (d) promptly report any suspected compromise to security@builderhelp.app; and (e) cooperate with BuilderHelp on incident response.

3. Reporting Abuse

To report a violation of this AUP — including suspected abuse, malware, infringement, or unauthorized access — email abuse@builderhelp.app. Please include the relevant URLs, account information, and a description of the issue. We will investigate reports promptly but cannot guarantee any specific outcome.

4. Enforcement

BuilderHelp may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. We may, in our reasonable discretion, take any of the following actions in response to a violation or suspected violation: (a) issue a warning; (b) require remediation within a specified timeframe; (c) limit, suspend, or revoke access to specific features or the Services as a whole; (d) remove or refuse to host content; (e) terminate the underlying subscription as provided in the Terms of Service; or (f) cooperate with law enforcement. We may take these actions with or without notice depending on the severity and nature of the violation. We are not liable for damages resulting from good-faith enforcement actions.

5. Changes to this AUP

We may modify this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as described in the Terms of Service. The version and effective date at the top of this page reflect the current AUP.
